There are 16 levels of resistance and 10 pre-set programs built into the Smooth
3.6, but you can choose from a rich array of challenging “random” programs that
combine various elements to give you dozens of variations to keep your
elliptical workouts interesting. The heart rate monitor is designed to
auto-adjust the resistance to keep you in your target heart rate zone for
more effective and safe workouts.
But the feature that you'll probably appreciate
the most is the pivoting foot pedals, which are standard on the Smooth CE
